Popularity for A Taste of It All resulted in a second edition for which marketing was tabled when G. M. Joachim was asked to help create a cookbook for kids with cancer for Magical Moon Foundation in Marshfield, Massachusetts. That amazing three-year journey with Lexie Williams, a young lady with a slow-growing, inoperable brain tumor produced a phenomenal cookbook entitled, Lexie’s Gift, A Cookbook for Kids Living with Cancer (available at magicalmoon.org).
Now Georgia Manzo Joachim is back and happily sharing recipe samples and showcasing A Taste of It All at her favorite venues throughout Maine, including Ingrid’s German Gift Shop at Bangor’s European Market (in the Sunnyside Florist Greenhouse), 117 Buck Street (by The Cross Center) this coming Saturday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as part of Ingrid’s annual Spring Open House series. Stop by and sample delicious recipes from A Taste of It All, browse its pages, and pick up a signed copy of this unique cookbook
Author Georgia Manzo Joachim is helping to put together a much-needed cookbook for kids with cancer for Magical Moon Foundation (nurturing & empowering children with cancer), along with the rest of the "Moon Spoon Team", at the request of Lexie Williams, "Sir Lexie, Legend of Love".
